| Q. Will I manage to complete the courses as an absolute beginner? |
| A. The crash courses are not intended for the absolute beginner. It’s advisable to have prior knowledge on rhythm and on how the guitar works, and to be able to play a few easy chords and know how to hold the guitar. |

| Q. Are the HOTSTRINGS courses OK for children? |
| A. HOTSTRINGS GuitarLib is mainly conceived as a practical crash course and material for players who have already practiced playing the guitar a bit. In our experience the minimum age to start teaching yourself guitar is about 10 -12. |

| Q. What kind of guitar should I use? |
| A. The Hotstrings courses are always best suited to e-guitar or acoustic guitar. Depending on the title. In principle it’s possible to play the course for the e-guitar on the acoustic guitar. However the basic technical differences between the two make it a challenge to play the exercises and tracks cleanly and at the right speed. In general acoustic guitars have a broader finger board and a higher string position. E-guitars have a more narrow string position and the smaller strings are frequently used. This is how techniques such as stringbending and fast solos can be easily achieved. In blues and in rock, it is important to make sure that you practice extensively in order to achieve a perfect e-guitar sound. |

| Q. Can I use HOTSTRINGS only on one computer? |
| A. With each HOTSTRINGS Book you buy a user licence. So for example: If you change your PC, you can send us an e-mail with your customer ID and we will reactivate the licensed books for another download immediately. Please refer to the HOTSTRINGS’ Terms of Use. |

| The actual versions are for PC ! – Anyhow, if you use a PC emulation program like virtual PC, you can use the HOTSTRINGS Books on your Mac. |

| Q. What are the sizes of the HOTSTRINGS-Books? |
A. Download the HOTSTRINGS-GuitarLib viewer first (with stretch-player) about 1.0 MB -The Bookfiles contain high quality text, graphics, chord-photos, audio exercises and band tracks. For example the E-guitar crash course download is about 46.2 MB.

| A. HOTSTRINGS GuitarLib ist coded for PC. It works with win 98, win 2000 and win xp.You should use at least a 17 inch monitor, to be able to use the layout best when practicing. Because you may want to have some printed note material with you, we recommend you to connect a printer to your pc. |

| Q. What are the minimum requirements for downloading the HOTSTRINGS books? |
| A. Downloading the HS browser will cause no problem because its size is small. But actually, because of the full book content, the crash-course files are much bigger, and we suggest you to use a fast internet connection. |

| Q. What format will the HS-ebooks be in? |
| A. The HOTSTRINGS GuitarLib Books Download file will be opened with the special free browser, which allows you to acess the complete content, including soundfiles, pictures and graphics. We have made quality control checks for all the main Windows programs. |

| A. Depending on the Volume of each HOTSTRINGS Book, the version costs between US $ 12.00 and US $ 16.00. Prices contain an Internet Sales Discount of 20 % . So each course is cheaper than 1 hour of private guitar lessons. The books are available as direct download and for each book there is a one-off payment that includes lifetime updates. |

| A. No. You ’ll buy a license for a book to use it for your personal study. The license includes use as teaching materials or resources if you intend to give lessons to someone. It also allows you to use the content as handouts to give to your students. |
